In the late morning of November 30, 2024, the quiet of a Parkton, North Carolina community was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 20-year-old Brandon Tyler “Tater” Deal. A male resident of Hope Mills, Deal's body was discovered by Robeson County Sheriff's deputies around 10:45 a.m. along the roadside in the 1500 block of East Green Springs Road.
