ZyDerec Massey, age 17, a male from Rock Hill, South Carolina, was shot while driving on Finley Road near downtown around 10 p.m. on June 27, 2025. Officers found the 17-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds in the 700 block of Finley Road; he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Family later confirmed the date of death as Friday, June 27, 2025.
