On December 5, 2024, at approximately 2:08 a.m., 31-year-old Kier Leon Marsh was fatally shot during a home invasion on Green Meadows Drive in Newberry, South Carolina. Marsh, originally from Broadway, North Carolina, was residing at the Green Meadows Drive residence at the time of the incident. Another male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the lower torso and was transported to a nearby trauma center; his current condition remains undisclosed.
