On December 16, 2024, 43-year-old Jotham Rafael "Joe" Simmons was fatally shot inside Klocker's Tavern, a bar located in the Socastee area of Horry County, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m., prompting law enforcement to respond to reports of shots fired.
