On December 24, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Columbia, South Carolina, resulting in the death of 4-year-old Jah'el E. Walker. The young boy was fatally shot while inside a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Harbison Boulevard. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
