On December 2, 2024, 34-year-old Daniel Terrell Perry was fatally shot near a gas station on Cleveland's East Side. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. in the 4000 block of East 131st Street. According to preliminary investigations, Perry had stopped at the gas station when another vehicle approached. An individual exited the vehicle, opened fire, and then fled the scene. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but Perry was pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple gunshot wounds.
