Anthony Lewis, a 52-year-old male, died on July 25, 2024, following a violent interaction at a residence in Missouri. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to a home in the 2400 block of Brighton Avenue in the East Community Team South neighborhood just after midnight, around 12:20 a.m., in response to reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, first responders discovered Lewis lying unresponsive outside the residence, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
