On November 9, 2022, a violent altercation took place in Webster Groves, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, resulting in the death of 40-year-old Marcus Johnson. Police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Almentor Avenue near Ivory Crockett Park around 7:30 p.m. following reports of a disturbance.
