On the early morning of June 30, 2016, a violent incident occurred in the Benton Park West neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, claiming the life of 30-year-old Eric Jones. Police officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Texas Avenue around 12:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a chaotic scene involving a crashed vehicle and multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
