On December 12, 2024, 35-year-old Weston B. Wade was fatally shot in his Canton Township home near Meyers Lake, Ohio. The Stark County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call at approximately 3:07 p.m. reporting a domestic-related shooting at the residence on Deville Avenue NW. Upon arrival, deputies found Wade with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention and transport to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, Wade was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
