On December 13, 2024, 42-year-old Lashunda Shmicka McLendon was fatally shot in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. in the 300 block of Archdale Drive, where officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon.
