On December 6, 2024, John Blackmon, aged 54, was found deceased inside Club Paradise, located on Mill Street in Jackson, Mississippi. Capitol Police responded to the scene shortly after 9:30 a.m., discovering Blackmon's body near a pool table with two apparent gunshot wounds.
