On December 12, 2024, Christopher Walton, aged 52, was fatally shot multiple times in the 1100 block of Grand Avenue in Jackson, Mississippi. Emergency responders pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The Jackson Police Department's investigation revealed that Walton had been involved in a verbal altercation with his girlfriend. During this dispute, her 23-year-old son, identified as Kalus Kelly, intervened and allegedly shot Walton multiple times, resulting in his death.
