On the morning of December 21, 2024, 37-year-old Juan Perry of Okolona, Mississippi, was found deceased in his vehicle at the Busy Bee convenience store on Romie Hill Avenue in Shannon. Shannon Police responded to a call around 9:18 a.m. reporting a person slumped over in a car. Upon arrival, officers discovered Perry's vehicle riddled with multiple bullet holes, indicating he had been fatally shot.
