On November 23, 2024, 47-year-old Kari Jo Hatfield, a mother of three from Midland, Michigan, was found deceased near the intersection of Perkins and South 12th Streets in Saginaw. She had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Emergency responders arrived at approximately 6:25 p.m. and transported her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
