On November 30, 2024, David B. Tuttle, a 70-year-old resident of Atlanta, Georgia, was fatally shot during a carjacking incident. The event occurred around 6:40 p.m. in the parking lot of a liquor store located on Metropolitan Parkway SW, near the I-85/I-75 downtown connector. Upon arrival, Atlanta Police Department officers found Tuttle with a gunshot wound; he was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
