On December 4, 2024, at approximately 11:04 p.m., Menifee Police Department officers responded to a residence in the 25000 block of Antelope Road in Sun City, California, following a report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, they discovered 42-year-old Emmanuel Villalobos lying on the floor with an apparent gunshot wound to his chest. Despite immediate first aid efforts, Mr. Villalobos was pronounced dead at the scene by Cal Fire personnel.
Given the suspicious nature of the death,
Menifee Police detectives took over the investigation. Preliminary findings indicated that this was an isolated incident, with all involved parties cooperating fully. Authorities have stated there is no ongoing threat to the community.
