On December 9, 2024, at approximately 9:00 p.m., 26-year-old Courtney Latrice Gunn was fatally shot in the 300 block of Georgia Street in Montgomery, Alabama. Upon arrival, Montgomery police officers found Gunn with a gunshot wound; she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an investigation, authorities arrested 35-year-old Devondrick Jones of Montgomery in connection with Gunn's death. Jones has been charged with capital murder and is currently held without bond at the Montgomer ...Read More
