On January 21, 2023, in Hawley, Texas, a tragic incident unfolded involving the Coonrod family. According to reports, Justin Coonrod, aged 38, fatally shot his father, Donald (Don) Herbert Coonrod Jr., aged 60, and critically injured his mother, Gwen Coonrod, before taking his own life in an apparent murder-suicide.
