According to reports, Justin Coonrod, aged 38, fatally shot his father, Donald (Don) Herbert Coonrod Jr., aged 60, and critically injured his mother, Gwen Coonrod, before taking his own life in an apparent murder-suicide.
The Jones County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene, where they found both Justin and his father deceased. Gwen was transported to a hospital in Dallas for treatment.
