Damian Arce, a 31-year-old male, was shot in the parking lot of the Chit Chat Bar & Lounge on the 4800 block of Dyer Street in El Paso shortly after 1 a.m. on June 1, 2025. Officers on a bar check heard a gunshot, found Arce wounded outside, and rushed him to a local hospital, where he later died. Detectives with the Crimes Against Persons Unit determined he had been in an altercation with another man before the shooting, and the assailant fled the scene.
