On January 30, 2023, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting incident in the 5800 block of Bonnie View Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered four individuals had been shot. Among them was 24-year-old Shermonda Lewis, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victims included two adult males and a child, aged either 5 or 6, who were transported to local hospitals in stable condition.
