On April 9, 2023, 22-year-old Adam Burns was fatally shot in Corpus Christi, Texas. The incident occurred around 3:39 a.m. in the 4800 block of Burney Drive, near Everhart Road. Burns was found in the parking lot of an O'Reilly Auto Parts store, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
