On November 10, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., Corpus Christi Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting on Moultrie Drive, near St. Andrews Park on the city's south side. Upon arrival, they discovered 34-year-old Carlos Alberto Garcia near the front door of a residence, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
