On May 6, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting in the 3500 block of Frankford Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered that 50-year-old Chance Domel Harris had been shot. Harris was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The preliminary investigation revealed that an argument in a parking lot along Frankford Road, near Marsh Lane in Far North Dallas, escalated into gunfire, resulting in Harris's death.
