On the night of May 12, 2023, 24-year-old Atrail Blaine Keith Vallian was fatally shot at Babe Zaharias Park in Beaumont, Texas. The incident occurred around 10:25 p.m. in the pavilion area of the park, located off Interstate 10. Emergency responders transported Vallian to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
