Alkevin Glenn Mire, a 28-year-old African American man from Beaumont, Texas, tragically lost his life on June 20, 2017. He was found shot inside his home along with his 7-year-old daughter. Mire was later pronounced dead at a local hospital, while his daughter was transported to a Houston-area hospital for treatment and survived with serious injuries.
