Shane Russell Jones, a 41-year-old man from Beaumont, Texas, tragically died on April 26, 2020, from a gunshot wound to his chest. Police were called to the scene on Stonetown Road in response to a reported fight, and upon arrival, they found Jones already deceased. The investigation revealed that Shane Russell Jones and Zachary Kapel, the man later charged with his murder, knew each other.
