On July 11, 2023, at approximately 1:19 p.m., Shiner Police responded to a reported gunshot at a residence in the 900 block of St. Ludmilla Street. Upon entry, officers discovered 45-year-old Anna Marie Hailey and her husband, 52-year-old Roderick Earl Hailey, deceased from gunshot wounds. A juvenile child was present in the home at the time of the incident but was unharmed.
