Mary Regina "Gina" Linam, a 7-year-old girl of Caucasian ethnicity, tragically lost her life on June 22, 1980, in Daingerfield, Texas. Gina was attending Sunday school at the First Baptist Church when a disgruntled local schoolteacher, armed with two assault rifles, burst into the church and opened fire on the parishioners. This horrific incident resulted in the deaths of five people, including Gina.
