On July 16, 2023, at approximately 9:04 p.m., 19-year-old Tijarious White was fatally shot at a Valero gas station located at 1135 Airport Boulevard in East Austin, Texas. According to the Austin Police Department (APD), White was inside the gas station as a customer when an unidentified suspect entered and shot him.
