On August 11, 2023, at approximately 11:05 p.m., Houston police responded to a shooting incident in the parking lot of a shopping center located at 9420 Cullen Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered 57-year-old Troy Harris suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics from the Houston Fire Department pronounced him deceased at the scene.
