Joseph Shelvin, a 62-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 27, 2021, in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at approximately 2 a.m. at 3200 Jensen Drive. Shelvin was fatally shot by a suspect while at the location. Upon arrival, Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased. Initially, there was no known suspect description, and the investigation was ongoing.
