On August 29, 2023, 21-year-old Arturo Pena of Mesquite, Texas, was found deceased in his vehicle at Audubon Park in Garland. He had been reported missing two days earlier. Upon discovery, authorities determined that Pena had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
