Death by Force

On January 14, 2024, at approximately 3:15 p.m., Garland police responded to a shooting incident in the 2300 block of West Buckingham Road, near North Garland High School. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals who had been shot by an unknown assailant. The victims were identified as 18-year-old Alan Jesus Chavez and 17-year-old Ruben Santibanez Arzola, both residents of Wylie, Texas. Despite efforts to save them, both victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
