On the morning of September 12, 2023, Beaumont Police responded to a shooting incident in the 1200 block of Fairway Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 36-year-old Freddie Alfred III, a resident of Beaumont, Texas, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds inside a residence. Emergency Medical Services pronounced him dead at the scene.
