On December 25, 2020, Christopher Damond Brown, a 25-year-old man from Orange, Texas, was fatally shot in the parking lot of the End-Zone Sports Lounge in Beaumont, Texas. Brown was found with a gunshot wound to his chest and was pronounced dead at the scene by Jefferson County Precinct One Justice of the Peace Ben Collins.
