Everett Maurice Mitchell, a 32-year-old African American male from Beaumont, Texas, tragically lost his life on August 13, 2017. He was found dead at his residence on Brace Drive, having been shot. The incident occurred early in the morning, and police were called to the scene at around 7:29 a.m. The traumatic event left Mitchell's family and friends in deep mourning.
