On October 14, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in Beaumont, Texas, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Kelon J'Mar King. The event occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Corley Avenue, where an argument between King and another individual escalated into a fatal shooting. King sustained critical injuries and was transported to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he later succumbed to his wounds.
