On the evening of September 20, 2023, in Brownsville, Texas, 51-year-old Alfredo Zapata was fatally shot during a domestic dispute. The incident occurred around 7:00 PM at a residence in the 1900 block of East Tyler Street. Upon arrival, Brownsville police officers found Zapata with a gunshot wound to the right side of his head.
