Death by Force

On November 22, 2023, at approximately 12:37 p.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a disturbance call at the intersection of Deer Run Drive and Blue Dawn Trail in southeast Austin. Upon arrival, they found 17-year-old Alexander Jaimes suffering from a gunshot wound. Jaimes was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
