On November 24, 2023, in Farmers Branch, Texas, 43-year-old Merced Andrade Bailón and her sister, 47-year-old Catalina Valdez Andrade, were tragically killed in a shooting at Catalina's residence on Castleton Place. Responding to a 4:20 a.m. emergency call, police discovered both sisters had been fatally shot in the head. Additionally, a third victim, identified as the suspect's daughter, sustained a gunshot wound to her arm but survived.
