On December 15, 2023, the Howard County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a deceased individual found along the 3800 block of North Highway 87 in Big Spring, Texas. The victim was identified as 32-year-old Christopher Semmelmann. Investigators determined that Semmelmann had been recently murdered at a residence in the 100 block of Jonesboro Road.
