On December 27, 2023, at approximately 9:15 a.m., 22-year-old Jamarcus Irving was fatally shot in the 9500 block of Scyene Road in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred in a strip shopping center in the Pleasant Grove area. Irving was conversing with 51-year-old Morland Smith near a beauty supply store when a red Nissan Sentra approached.
