On November 3, 2022, 29-year-old Derek Gunter was found fatally shot in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred on South Nachita Drive, where authorities discovered the male victim with gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. At the time, the gunman was reported to be at large, and the Dallas Police Department initiated an investigation into the homicide.
