Kendrick Forrest, a 39-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 22, 2016, in Dallas, Texas. Forrest was working as a security guard at Club 1919 on Riverfront Boulevard when he was shot and killed. He had stepped in to cover for another employee who called in sick, despite having just attended his father's funeral earlier that day.
