Maximino Casteneda, a 30-year-old man, went missing on August 4, 1999, from San Ysidro, California. On June 29, 1999, Maximino and his friend Robert Delgado traveled to Tijuana, Mexico. A few days later, Delgado’s vehicle was found abandoned in Tijuana. Shortly after, Delgado's body was discovered, showing signs of torture. Maximino has not been seen or heard from since that time, and despite efforts, his whereabouts remain unknown.
