On February 10, 2024, at approximately 12:54 a.m., Kingsville Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of Vela Street in Kingsville, Texas. Upon arrival, they discovered 20-year-old Nicholas C. Guerrero lying in the roadway, deceased from a gunshot wound to the shoulder and a stab wound to the chest.
