On February 25, 2024, in Houston, Texas, 30-year-old Cristhian Zelaya was fatally shot under circumstances that remain unclear. After sustaining gunshot wounds at an unknown location, Zelaya managed to drive to a gas station in the 10400 block of Veterans Memorial Drive in northwest Harris County.
