Denise Coultas-Parker, a 62-year-old woman from Sunland, California, went missing on November 7, 2018. Denise was last seen at her residence, but her vehicle, a 2002 black Honda CRV, was later discovered abandoned on November 12 near Pueblo of Acoma, New Mexico, off Highway 40 at mile marker 102. Despite multiple search efforts in the surrounding area, including ground and air operations, no trace of Denise has been found. The search was initially delayed due to restrictions on tribal land, and the area where her car was found is remote, with harsh weather conditions, further complicating search efforts.
Denise was reported to have multiple health conditions, including multiple sclerosis and transient global amnesia, which raised concerns about her vulnerability. Given the cold temperatures and the desolate nature of the area, her case was considered high-risk, and a Silver Alert was issued. Despite extensive searches, her whereabouts remain unknown, and law enforcement continues to seek information regarding her disappearance.
