On March 26, 2024, at approximately 1:25 a.m., Houston police responded to a shooting incident at an apartment complex located at 5950 Antoine Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 66-year-old Jorish Dwight Sherman inside his residence, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency medical services transported Sherman to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
